I've created this Puppy Owner Questionnaire to help me match you with the puppy that best suits your lifestyle, personality, and home.
Choosing the right puppy isn't always as simple as it seems. Personality really does matter, and my goal is to make sure your new puppy fits naturally into your life-like they were always meant to be there.
This isn't a test, and there are no right or wrong answers. It's simply a way for me to get to know you better so I can guide you toward the best possible match.

Why I Don't Let Families Simply Pick a Puppy

I'm often asked why I don't just let families choose their puppy based on photos or a visit.
The truth is, puppies are a lot like babies-they eat, they play, and then they sleep… a lot. And somehow, they always seem to be asleep right when you're trying to decide!
Because I raise my puppies as part of my family, I get to see them at all times of the day-not just the quiet moments, but when they're awake, playful, curious, and really showing who they are.
I spend time with them every single day, watching how they interact, how confident they are, how they respond to new things, and how they connect with people. This gives me a much clearer understanding of each puppy's personality than a short visit ever could.

How I Match Puppies to the Right Homes

Personality Matters More Than Looks.
While markings and colour can be important to some families, what truly matters is how a puppy fits into your life.
Every home is different. Some are busy and active, others are quieter and more relaxed. Some families have young children, while others are looking for a companion dog.
Matching the right personality to the right home makes all the difference.

Understanding Puppy Temperament

Even at a young age, puppies begin to show clear personality traits.
Some are more confident and outgoing. Others are softer and more easy-going. 
Some like to take the lead, while others are happy to follow.
I observe these traits closely as they develop and also carry out gentle temperament assessments at key stages. This helps me build a well-rounded understanding of each puppy.

Confident vs Easy-Going Puppies

Some puppies are naturally more confident, bold, and strong-willed. These pups can be incredibly rewarding, but they do best with owners who are comfortable providing clear guidance and leadership.
Others are more gentle, relaxed, and eager to please. These puppies tend to be a great fit for families with young children or for those who prefer a calmer, more easy-going companion.
Most people want a puppy with a bit of personality-and that's perfectly fine. The key is making sure that personality matches your experience, confidence, and lifestyle.
