BORDER COLLIE PUPPY
PRICING POLICY

My Approach to Pricing

At Bordermeade Border Collies, I believe pricing should be clear, fair, and consistent for every family.
I put a great deal of time, care, and experience into raising each litter. From health and early development to daily handling and socialisation, every puppy is given the best possible start.
My pricing policy reflects the level of care and commitment behind each puppy.
From time to time, my prices may be adjusted in line with rising costs and general market conditions.

The Value Behind Every Puppy

The purchase price of a puppy is only one part of responsible breeding.
Before puppies are born, significant time and resources are invested into health testing, pedigree research, selecting suitable breeding combinations, veterinary care, and ongoing support for both the parents and puppies.
Once a litter arrives, the puppies are raised in a home environment and receive daily handling, socialisation, enrichment, and age-appropriate training foundations. This includes exposure to household sounds, new experiences, early toilet training, and activities designed to help build confidence and resilience.
Responsible breeding also involves ongoing costs such as veterinary care, vaccinations, microchipping, quality nutrition, registration, health screening, and maintaining the wellbeing of the adult dogs.
While the initial purchase price is important, prospective owners should also consider the ongoing costs of dog ownership, including food, veterinary care, training, preventative health care, grooming, and enrichment throughout the dog's life.

How my Puppy Pricing policy Works

The price I quote you in your first email or message will be honoured, provided that:
Your deposit is received within 7 days, and You accept a puppy from the litter originally discussed based on your preferences.
If I can't supply you a puppy from the originally discussed litter you can choose to stay on the list for the next litter for the same price discussed.
If I have a puppy available but you choose to move to a future litter, your puppy will be priced according to the current pricing at that time.

Payment Schedule

To keep the process simple and organised: A deposit secures your place on my waiting list
Once you are offered a puppy and accept your place, an additional $500 payment is required within 3 days
The remaining balance is due when your puppy is 8 weeks and 4 days old (the usual pickup date)

Price Changes & Your Options

I do not send individual notifications for price changes. However, you are always welcome to contact me for the latest pricing.
If a price change no longer suits your situation, you may request a full refund of your deposit at any time before accepting a puppy.

Deposit Policy

Your place on my waiting list is based strictly on when your deposit is received.
If I am unable to provide a puppy within the timeframe I originally estimated, you are entitled to a full refund.
If you choose to leave the waiting list:
Your deposit will be refunded minus a $100 administration fee
If you have already been allocated and accepted a puppy:
Payments made are non-refundable However, they will be held as a credit toward a future puppy

Puppies Staying Beyond Pickup Day

Final payment must be completed by the time your puppy reaches 8 weeks and 4 days of age
If your puppy remains with me beyond this date:
I will continue to care for them to the same high standard
Ongoing care is at the owner’s responsibility and risk
