We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Bordermeade and, most importantly, with our beautiful Chili we brought home.

From the very beginning, the communication and care we received were exceptional. We loved getting regular videos and updates on Facebook, which allowed us to watch Chili grow and see her personality develop before she even came home.

The handover was incredibly thorough, and we were given a fantastic folder full of information, advice and everything we needed to help Chili settle into her new home. It was obvious how much love, care and thought had gone into giving her the best possible start.

Chili has settled into our family beautifully and has already brought us so much happiness. She is such a loving, happy and beautiful girl, and we absolutely adore her.

A huge thank you to Kim for raising our gorgeous Chili with so much love and for making the whole experience from start to finish so positive and reassuring. Absolutely exceptional — without a doubt the best breeder we could have chosen.

We cannot recommend Kim and her husband at Bordermeade Border Collies highly enough.

From the very beginning, the care, knowledge, professionalism and genuine love they have for their dogs was obvious. This isn’t simply someone breeding puppies — it is a commitment to producing happy, healthy, well-socialised dogs and finding them the right family.

The communication throughout the process was fantastic, and we were kept informed and involved every step of the way. The amount of thought, time and effort that goes into giving each puppy the best possible start in life is extraordinary.

And then there’s Tilly.

Bringing her home has shown us that all of that care really does make a difference. She is an incredibly beautiful, intelligent, confident and affectionate little Border Collie with a wonderful temperament. She has settled into our family exceptionally well, and we couldn’t be happier with her.

Kim and her husband genuinely care about the dogs they breed, long after the puppy leaves their property. That, to us, is what separates an exceptional breeder from everyone else.

If you’re considering a Border Collie, we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Bordermeade. In fact, we’d go further than that — we’d tell you to start your search by talking to Kim.

We recently purchased a puppy from Kim at Bordermeade and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the first enquiry to pick up day, communication was clear, prompt, and genuinely caring. Kim clearly prioritises the health and wellbeing of their dogs — the puppies were raised in a clean, social, and enriching environment, and it showed in their confidence and temperament.

I am so happy with my beautiful puppy River and my experience with Kim from Bordermeade. It was clear from the beginning how much time, thought and care goes into raising every litter and giving the puppies the best possible start.
I was particularly impressed by the wonderful temperaments of all the adult dogs — they are lovely, confident and wonderfully natured, as well as being beautiful examples of the breed. Good temperament and thoughtful early experiences are so important in giving a puppy the foundations to become a stable, well-adjusted adult dog, and both were very important to me when choosing a breeder.
Since bringing River home, I've really seen the benefit of all the work that went into her early socialisation and enrichment. She is remarkably confident with new experiences and takes strange and unexpected noises in her stride. It is obvious that a great deal of effort went into exposing the puppies thoughtfully to different sounds, surfaces, environments and experiences.
I also really appreciated being able to follow River's development as she grew and how much care was taken to understand each puppy as an individual. I feel incredibly lucky to have her and very grateful for the wonderful start she was given.

Kim is everything you could hope for in a competent and professional breeder, and so much more.
We got our puppy, Cora, from her, and we truly couldn't be happier with our experience.
Not only are her dogs stunningly beautiful and blessed with wonderful temperaments, but it's also clear that the parent dogs are treated with the utmost respect and cared for in exceptional conditions. The information and resources Kim provides to new owners are incredibly valuable, packed with practical advice that makes bringing a new puppy home so much easier. On top of that, the puppy kit is thoughtfully assembled and filled with useful extras.
Kim has a wealth of knowledge, a genuinely approachable nature, and an incredible dedication to raising each litter with care and purpose. The early socialization and confidence-building she does with the puppies are essential.

We recently welcomed our beautiful chocolate and white Border Collie, Stanley, into our family, and we couldn't be happier with our experience with Bordermeade Border Collies.
